I love the salon and every one there. Mindi is my stylist and is amazing. I have naturally curly hair and she is the best in Columbus. She might possibly be the best in Ohio, or even the world!!!!

I have been getting my hair cut with Mindy at Akada for the past 3 years or so. I have very naturally curly hair.The first time I visited, I had been wearing my hair straight and was not ready to wear my hair curly. Mindy understood and cut my hair so that if I wanted to straighten it, I would easily be able to. Mindy is an incredible hair stylist. My sister and I both have very curly hair, and Mindy is the first person to cut it and make it look its best. She cuts great layers, and cuts from the bottom and the top, so my hair isn't completely frizzy like it used to be. Mindy is great with curly hair, and I highly recommend her :D

Mindi H. is the most brilliant stylist. She works miracles with my combination curly/wavy hair, which is why I've been going to her exclusively for over five years. Arlene is an awesome stylist! My hair is impossible. thick, coarse, frizzy... it has a mind of its own. Arlene works with my hair, not against it. Whether we decide to accent my curls, or go for the straight and sleek look, My hair always looks amazing and the products she suggested to me work perfectly with my hair type. She's skilled,thoughtful,talented professional and really considers the hair she is working with and what it naturally wants to do and what cut/style is going to work best with it. thanks Arlene!

My first experience to Akada was a success thanks to MacKenzie. Her energy and passion helped me feel very comfortable in the studio and would highly recommend her to anyone. I didn't know how I wanted my hair style and left it up to her and she did a great job, and I will continue coming back for years to come!

Ever since Mackenzie was suggested to me I have never been more happy with my hair. I frequently change my hair style and can honestly say I have never been able to completely trust a stylist, but with her I always leave with the exact style I'm looking for.
