Went one time; will never go back. I loved my stylist and the job she did on my cut and color, however, my color faded after two weeks. Not only did it fade, it completely changed from purple to orange and blond. No lie. When I sent management an email letting them know my dissatisfaction with the color, even after buying expensive product from the salon to help keep the color, they didn't bother to send me a response back, rather just had the receptionist call me and ask that I come in early for my next appointment so my st... read more
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. My haircut looked passable right after it was done, but it took only a week for all imperfections to be very noticeable. There was no style or shape to it. Very disappointing as this trip used my time, money, and mood.
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Go see Amanda F. and you will not be disappointed! Even when I don't know what I want, she ALWAYS sends me away with a smile and a hairstyle I LOVE! The shampoo is to die for as well. Plus the salon is AWESOME-Very personable staff that offers you coffee/tea/water as soon as you arrive and treats you like a friend. Great salon, great stylist, just a GREAT experience every time I visit.
Look no further than Akada. My experience has been flawless. Amanda is my stylist and I know I'm in good hands. I never know how to describe exactly what I'm looking for, but she has a way of figuring it out. Keeps me looking stylish and professional.
Guys, if you want an awesome haircut that'll get you tons of compliments, go see Mary Catherine Venturella! I've been going to see her at Akada for almost a couple of years now. All of the staff is really friendly and it doesn't take very long to get an appointment.
went to Akada for the first time last week, scheduled my appointment with Mackenzie! I had colored my hair out of a box at home and messed up my roots and when I went in she knew exactly how to fix it! She gave me an all over color and then subtle, perfect highlights!! I think Akadas prices are VERY reasonable and Mackenzies service was perfect :) BOOK WITH MACKENZIE!
I have gone to Akada several times now and the staff there is AWESOME! Everyone is always so friendly. Everytime I go everyone is always smiling and laughing, and that is very refreshing to see in a business. I need to give Samantha a little love, because she gave me the best shampoo ever. I would definitely recommend this Salon to anyone!
Makenzie is my choice! She has great ideas for short women's hair that are great for the professional world and allow me individualize!!! Always listens and provides great suggestions. I have been a client for a year and as long as I live in Columbus I will continue to see her!
Mindi has been doing my hair for a few years now & I've never had more fun with it! Highly recommend her for long or short hair, funky or traditional.
