Akada Salon and Stylist – Akada Hair salon provides great services at the price you want in a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. I love their PM Shine hair color treatment which leaves my hair silky for weeks and fades out without any hair line. Kelli Sanders gives a great cut (I usually get long layers) and is very reasonably priced. I also love that they are right next to Jeni's and Stauf's - two of my other favorite places to hang out in Grandview!
Akada Stylist – I have lots of hair, but it is very fine and difficult to work with. It won't hold a curl and has a mind of it's own. Because of this, I have never really had a fantastic haircut until I came to Akada. I was just a walk-in but I was set up with the best stylist I've ever had, Kelli Sanders. Amie is the curly hair MASTER – I've lived in New York City for the past 10 years and have tried dozens of stylists at various salons (Devachan, Bumble & Bumble, Beehive, Mousey Brown, Hair Metal, etc.) and have NEVER found a stylist who knows how to cut curly hair like AMIE at Akada. Akada stylist – I grew up in a really small town where you didn't have a whole lot of options on where you could go to get a hair cut. If you asked for something short and edgy, you got a shoulder length bob; if you asked for something updated with layers, you got a super 80's feathered look and lots of hairspray... Impressive – I'm a guy whose been threw over 20 different stylist over the past 5 years and even cut my own hair for a while until I found KELLY!!!! Amazing what she has done.
Love this Salon – Went here after a cut gone wrong and Lindsey did a miracle on my hair. I will not go anywhere else now. Everyone is amazingly nice and polite. They take the time to address your hair concerns and then fix them. Cannot say enough great things about Akada!

Kelli Is the Best Colorist/Stylist I've Found In A Long Time – I can not say enough good things about Kelli at Akada Salon. I have had a lot of trouble finding a colorist that truly covers all my gray hair. She does it perfectly every time, and always matches it seamlessly to my natural hair color. I also am someone who stains VERY easily around my hairline, and I have never been to anyone who takes more time and care making sure this does not happen--which is extremely appreciated.
