Completely missed a talus fracture on my daughter's foot. Wasted 8 weeks in a boot for a "sprained ankle" . Had to push the dr to even do an mri after 2 months of her walking in a boot. Look up that fracture. It is so serious. She should have never been weight bearing it even in a boot. Dr says continue in the boot and walk around in controlled environments as comfortable with a talus facture without the boot and fully weight bear as comfortable. Seemed completely wrong. My daughter broke her arm and we were referred to Dr. Brasher — she is an amazing doctor! My daughter had broken both bones in her left arm, and one of them was completely snapped in two. She was in so much pain, but Dr. Brasher was polite, calm, and incredibly reassuring throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain every step to both me and my daughter, and she answered all of my questions patiently. Every time I go to this doctor I get nothing but bad vibes from her. She doesn’t seem to care much about helping my son. He needs surgery badly and she rather put a cast on my son for 6 months than to do his surgery. He has been wearing boots for 2 years or so now and he is still top toeing badly in one foot. He now is getting hip pain and his foot is positioning differently when he walks. She doesn’t smile doesn’t seem to have compassion towards my son. I don’t like this doctor at all.
She was so so nice! She did my ankle surgery and got it done good and asap. Give this Doctor a higher raise!
