Trying to get an appointment is like trying to get in to see the president of the united states. Dr. Ahns website says he is accepting new patients. My husband is a former patient. When I called, I was told he was only taking new patient's whose primary physician is with Baycare, which is what I have. I was told by the scheduler that she would have to speak to Dr. Ahn to see if he would take me on as a new patient. I never got a call back. Feels like I'm getting the run-around.

Dr. Ahn is an exceptional Gastroenterologist who cares about his patients and provides the best of care. I have recommended him to many of my friends and family. He is the best!!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahn's for approximately 14 years, and I am very pleased with the care which has been provided. Dr. Ahn's demeanor is one of caring and compassion. He takes the time to give a thorough explanation, and to answer any questions which I might have. Several years ago, Dr. Ahn diagnosed my cancer and made sure that I got the treatment I needed. I am healthy now, but still follow up with Dr. Ahn regularly.

My family have been patients of Dr Ahn for years. He saved my husbands life by diagnosing his colon cancer at a very early stage. We wouldn't go anywhere else if we had a choice.

From the very start of my contact with Dr. Ahn and his staff I have been nothing but very pleased. I was able to get an appointment very quickly due to a cancellation. He is very thorough and caring. He records the details of the visit while you are there to confirm the information which I appreciated. His staff is very courteous and efficient. The waiting time in the office very short and the office space was very pleasant. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

Do not select Dr Ahn for your physician. I have changed to a new doctor as others have said too recently. I actually got a letter in the mail discharging me from being under Dr Ahn's care. They did not explain why. They cancelled my pending appointment. They would not refill a pending prescription and I suffered for 2 months waiting for another Gastro doctor to take me as a new patient. I've placed 7 calls and no were returned by Mona or Brenda or Barbara or Dr Ahn.

I just can't get the office staff or the doctor to return my calls. I was without my refilled medicine for nearly three weeks waiting for them to return my messages and the office manager was extremely inconsiderate when I complained in person. Then I waited over a month for a new appointment. The doctor spent just a few minutes with me and spoke more to the dictation machine then he did with me. I have found another gastroenterologist this month.

Misdiagnosed me for 4 years. I owe my life to finding another Gastrointestinal doctor in Tampa. Watch out he will recommend surgery for everything and his practice manager Mona never calls you back when you need help.

I am extremely disappointed by Dr Ahn and his staff. They don't return my calls, many times I call several times and leave several messages. I thought the surgery center he sent me to for my colonoscopy was dirty and he never spoke to my family. I am looking for a new gastroenterologist on HealthGrades.
