Have used Dr. Ahn for 4-5 years, both for 'illness' and for routine matters, such as colonoscopy. He got to the bottom of a sudden severe illness that hospitalized me for 5 days (medication prescribed by another MD). I appreciated his thoroughness and attention to detail. His explanations were easy to understand. Office staff is friendly. Usually promptly seen for an appointment but if delayed due to emergency, his staff is very accommodating.
Simple to set up, easy appointment and procedure was painless and the doctor was informative. Highly recommended. Everyone was pleasant and made me feel at ease.
The Dr. is to the point No sugar coating all business and he knows his business Office is great If you need the best gastroenterologist ,this guy is the best
I found Dr. Ahn gave me a better physical exam than my primary care physician. He takes time, and answers all of your questions. I have recommended him.
Dr Ahn was offended that my MD asked him to run a test. That was the first issue. They coded my Insurance paperwork incorrectly . I spoke to Medicare and they gave me the proper coding and they refused to submit it. It’s also horrible trying to make an appointment. Dr Ahn has a Superiority Complex. Find another Dr you will save yourself from the aggravation I experienced,
Dr Ahn was dismissive of me and my symptoms, as if I was exaggerating. I had terrible explosive diarrhea every morning so that I was unable to do my job until after 10 am. He said I should just relax, but I had to apply for short term disability. Dr Ahn lost his temper and yelled at me in the office, calling me a liar. I should have fired him sooner but after I did, I later learned I was gluten intolerant and that was the cause of all my problems! Bad doctor!
