From my very first visit I felt that the office staff was professional and addressed my concerns, Dr. Afshari cares about his patients he never seemed rushed and was available even after hours if questions or situations came up, that made me feel that I was more than a patient but human. Unfortunately I could only give 5 stars even 10 stars can't sum up my experience.
I was referred to Dr Afshari after being diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. He and his staff have been amazing. He and the staff at Memorial Hospital took excellent care of me during and after my surgery. I highly recommend him both as a doctor and as a person who cares
Dr. Afshari addressed all my concerns. The procedure was quick and smooth. he also has a sense of humor however is super serious about the clean work he does. Talented and recommended.
Dr Afshari is an excellent surgeon who repaired a large hiatal hernia for me. Not only is he very skilled at what he does, he is very personable, compassionate and takes his time to explain and answer all your questions. I highly recommend him!

My experience with Dr. Afshari was nothing short of amazing. I saw him for a lipoma on the back of my neck that needed to be removed. Upon my first visit, he was very nice and kind, he didn't talk in 'dr' talk, he told me everything where I could understand it. We set a plan and I had it removed. I recently went back for a follow up and he was excellent. Very comforting and actually listened to any concern I had about the incision. He is a very pleasant Doctor, serious , confident, values human being and delivers super result. I was also overwhelmed by how quickly his office, the hospital, the diagnostic team, pre-op and surgery were delivered within 9 days. So thankful that I have had him to take care of my serious issue.
