I normally do not write or speak about medical doctors...but this particular doctor stands above the rest On July 9, 2025, I had surgery at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. My wife and daughter were a little nervous before my surgery.Dr. Afshari must have sense it when he was speaking to both of them. My wife told me when I came home from surgery.This doctor really cares for his patients and their families. I have so much respect for this doctor.

From start to finish, I cannot recommend Dr Afshari enough. Had such a great experience. He is very personable, easy to talk to and puts your mind at ease.
Almost back to normal. Dr put it extra layer of mesh so it would not come back. Really knows his stuff. Recommend him highly for surgery.
