Dr. Afshari performed Parathyroid surgery on me August 12th. Really liked his way of informing the patient exactly what he found and how he would correct the problem. Post op visit yesterday and he explained in detail how the surgery went well, problem was corrected and recovery has been very quick. Thanks Doc, no complaints. John Christopher

In the past 3 years Dr. Afshari saved me twice. He is an exceptional doctor and compassionate. Both times I had breast cancer I was devastated, scared and depressed. Dr. Afshari explained what's happening and the next steps. I always left his office feeling stronger and safe. The staff is also great helping the patients and responding to all the questions. Thank you for saving me twice Dr. Afshari!!
I was able to get in to see Dr. Afshari the same day I called for an appointment. He put me at ease and thoroughly explained the surgical procedure I would need. I received a packet in the mail with detailed explanations of pre op needs, surgery time and follow up appointment. Everything went as described and Dr. Afshari was very professional and caring. Even the Memorial staff told me they always choose Dr. Afshari when surgery is indicated for themselves or their family.
Very professional! Genuinely cares about his patients. I won’t go to any other specialist in his field of work!
12/7/2001, 19yrs ago, this doctor more than likely saved my life. He'd done 2 removals of begin tumors on my breasts. He practically begged me to let him do a bilateral mastectomy as my family had a history of Cancer. I finally agreed and did so on 12/7/19, with his recommened Plastic Surgeon, Timothy Fee doing my reconstruction surgery.
