I was seen very quickly and was treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism. My diagnosis was well explained and the treatment options were provided and explained. This was all done within 45 minutes. I was also given a doctors note for school; even though the doctor can not back date an excuse, a special note was added to my doctors note to account for when my symptoms started. This was my first visit to AFC Urgent Care. Seeing the high number of positive reviews for them was very reassuring and one of my daughters made a visit several weeks ago for an urgent medical need; consequently, I was pretty confident that I, too, would have a good experience. I was in Chattanooga for a wedding when I woke at 3:30AM with what felt like a knife in my lower back. Google helped me find out it may be kidney stones. I was able to select this AFC based on other reviews and showed up at 9AM for a check up. PA Rachael and Nurse Starla took good care of me through the check up and with meds administered at the office. Getting prescriptions fill was a bit of a challenge as it was Sunday before Labor Day. Everyone was so nice and professional as well as thorough. Checked in with no problem and was seen within 15 minutes you can't beat that! Kyla, Kim, and Sarah were absolutely great. The receptionist was just as friendly and cute as a button! Everyone was so helpful. Should I feel ill again, I know right where to go American Family Care!
Sarah the doctor and Connie her assistant are exceptional in their field. I was treated with care and even learned more about my issues. I will only go there in the future
