I’ve been twice. Both times were alarming and their practices (especially during the second visit) could easily kill someone. First time, I was there for 6-7 hours and had my vitals taken maybe 3 times. Standard of care in an ER is at least hourly. Also, no one took me back for a quick initial examination for multiple hours when I said I had an open fracture on my foot. Later, the doctor said I didn’t have a fracture. The radiologist disagreed. I had to come in for a mental-health matter! So I was taken to the psychiatric unit, towards behind the emergency room, family receiving unit.
Do NOT COME TO THIS ER! I drove my wife here with crushing severe abdomen pain - 30+++ minutes waiting to REGISTER - Wife crying begging from oain, Nurse absolutely uncaring says stay in line - wife begs to lie down on empty guerney nurse says " No that's only if you are dying" Over an hour+ - no doc no treatment no bed- she is vomiting, in agonizing pain WORST HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE.
The registration process was the only positive during my visit to the emergency room. The place wasn't busy and it took a little over 3 hours to see a doctor. The nurses were having a good time talking and laughing, the attention was impersonal and on a rush. Very disappointing.
I am writing to express our deep dissatisfaction with the treatment my wife received at your facility. Despite her PCP stating her condition required urgent treatment based on ultrasound results, the ER failed to address the primary cause of her illness. It is particularly disappointing given that the ER is integrated with the main hospital, where the necessary treatment was readily available.
