I really wasn’t impressed . I saw a car I was very interested in on the Facebook market place , so I drive and hour to see it . We were taken back behind the dealer shop to view a car they had by the service area . The vehicle had been listed for sale 3 days before I found it . The salesman told me they hadn’t had a chance to go over the car and couldn’t tell me if it was drives me or something they would even sell me , depending on how much work it needed . We had a great experience with The sales Consultant Diego Bastone. Diego was a young gentleman who actually went to school with my boys. We found this out as we talked. He was such a nice young man with a lot of knowledge on the vehicles. There was no haggling the transition was smooth and with in twenty four hours the deal was done . Recently purchased a 2019 RDX Aspec model. Traded in my 2014 BMW 428. Heard from salesman how happy I would be with moving from BMW to Acura. I gotta tell you Acura, you’re a far cry from BMW technology. I spent 50K on this SUV with new “infotainment” system that hasn’t worked right since I bought it. Screen reads “loading” and is stuck there until you manually back out to home screen and select radio. This doesn’t just happen once in a while, it happens EVERY time I start the car. My salesman was on top of this purchase from start to finish always in contact. Answered all my questions and put me at ease. I would defiantly return to Acura of Wappingers Falls it was a good experience.
From greeting to closing they were great! Jason covered everything and made himself available to me every step of the way.
The service department is wonderful ONLY to take your money. The minute there is a concern, they do not deal with you respectfully. The old adage- “the customer is right” is incorrect for Acura. They sold me faulty Goodyear tires and instead of assisting me with replacing the tires they told me to call Goodyear myself or buy ANOTHER tire from them. The manager also refused to come and speak with me. Eddie, Phil and Joe. Unacceptable!!!!
