I asked 5 times if the car had been smoked in and was told emphatically it had not been. When I drove up to Greenville to look at it, I noted a strange smell and was told it was only the disinfectant cleaner used to clean the cars. After the cleaner wore off the smoke plume was unmistakeable. I was also missing parts (a funnel needed for emergency gas) and when I tried to get back in touch with the salesman he never returned my phone call. Yes, it is a 1999 with 114,000 on it; however, there was way to much required to have it usable. One of the big sliding doors could not even be opened and there was no mention of that whatsoever in the description. Also it listed the ac as cold. I would not blow anything but hot air and the compressor was making a noise. Had I know all of the above, I could have at least saved myself the trip.
What started out as a fairly simple interaction turned into a waste of time and effort. From trying to conceal discounts to making us sign papers for a car they couldn't find was frustrating and should be an embarrassment to them.
