I had PRK surgery over 2 years ago. My eyesight is fantastic. I chose to have mono vision and am delighted with the results. I have no need for readers or driving glasses! I can transition from computer work or reading easily. Dr. Vale is very thorough, accommodating and kind. I wish I would have had this procedure done 10 years ago. Thank you Dr. Vale and the staff at Acuity Laser Eye & Vision Center for all the great work you do.
Had my PRK procedure on June 10th. Fantastic. Doc and his staff where amazing. I would gladly recommend Acuity to anyone. Doctor Vale gave me very specific instructions for both pre and post operative care. July 22, 2016. Had epi lasik eye surgery done 4 weeks ago. Vision is still very blurry. Very disappointed however I'm being told it's possible to take up to six months. As of now, I regret doing it. I will repost in a couple weeks from now. I have now done a follow up review. Please read my comment in the comment section.
I had my procedure completed in 2005, and I can still see perfectly. I was very nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Vale and his staff make you feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. The procedure is painless, and I was able to drive the very next day. It has been terrific being able to wake up in the morning and not have to reach for my glasses to see. Today is March 11th (my birthday) and just had another post-op appt. I'm seeing 20/25 already! Just had PRK on Feb 26th. Staff is really nice and I'm healing so well! PRK was recommended because of my future in law enforcement -- no flap that can be displaced as in regular lasik. If you're debating on doing it, just do it! I was almost blind before if I took my glasses off! I'm so happy and Dr Vale and Dr Helen are wonderful (:
