Stay Away! New residents, steer clear -- especially dog owners! My issues fall into 3 main categories: 1. renewal process 2. communication 3. not truly pet friendly Renewing my lease was a terrible experience and it was nearly impossible to get someone to speak to live. The on-site staff could not discuss any changes (term, monthly cost etc) -- the algorithm dictate everything. A LARGER apartment was listed for less per month but they would not change the price. Verified Renter This building has been falling apart for years. Legacy isn’t doing anything to improve this fact and they seem completely overwhelmed with this place. Find a new building in the area instead.

roaches, rats, drugs Not a good place to live. I’m dealing with roaches year round along with rats running around in the hallway. Also, if you get unlucky with neighbors below you, your apartment will smell like drugs because it comes in through the floors and vents. Fans and air purifier will not help at all. Leasing office do not help with the issue.

Verified Renter This is my first home in San Diego and I don’t want to leave. The people have become like family and the building so so homey. Aside from a few minor things, I really love it here and feel so at home

A great place to live Albeit expensive, Domain is a great place to live. The apartments are spacious, well maintained and by no means neglected. They have a great and friendly Staff willing to address your needs and rectify any issues you may have. The pool area is beautiful as is the courtyard. This was the first (of 8) apartments we looked at and nothing else compared to it. We came back and signed a lease right away. No regrets. Highly recommend living here.

Good luck with this community I wish I could submit this review without rating it. I wanted to rent a unit in this community, and for two straight days, I gave them a call/text no one responded. If you can not be helpful to your future/potential residents when they want to sign the contract, apparently, you won't be responsible and accountable for what you have to do after that. It's just wasting time.

Used needle I found a used needle in my closet and you can't walk around outside without smelling weed. Disgusting place to live

Not hot water no heat Here we go again. Received an email that the boilers are down meaning no hot water till repaired. This just 3 days after the HVAC systems went down so no heat. If you’re lucky enough to get hot water you probably had to let it run for 10 mins before it got hot or will only last a solid 10- which for hair wash days is not nearly enough. The staff is a mix of people who care and who don’t but either way it’s difficult to get in touch.
