Picked up my new dolly with hydraulic disc brakes this morning at the factory. A staff member showed me all of the features and how to hook up my car. He answered all my questions and was very friendly and helpful. After leaving the factory I towed the dolly home to Alabama (around 500 miles) with no problems at all. I expect this dolly will meet all of my towing needs for years to come. Put my 2007 Kia Amanti on the tow dolly after being assured that it would fit only to have the front bumper come in contact with the tire stop. I tried to back off carefully but the tire stop lip caught the underside of my car and tore off three pieces that protect the car and dislodged my front bumper. I have contacted the company, had my lawyer write a letter seeking restitution for the damage and had the Better Business Bureau contact them and have received NO response from any effort. Been out on the road in Montana and Idaho the past couple weeks towing our Honda Civic with our newly purchased dolly. I am extremely satisfied. The quality is top notch, I LOVE the hydraulic brakes, and it loads and tows great! I will recommend it to anyone that needs to tow a rig behind their RV!
Best tow dolly for the money. Nothing Luke trouble free disk brakes too.Glad I got the plastic ramps before metals ones too. I use them to change oil on tow car and are strong.
I have been researching tow dollies for about 6 months, as well as flat towing. I am convieced that Aceme Tow Dolly is the way to go. Even if I had a vehicle that would flat tow I would still use a dolly to save wear and tear on the vehicle's front axle and transmission. Yes, it may take a few minutes longer than hooking up a flat tow - but who is in that big of a hurry while RVing. It's a five star product for sure. Over 4k miles since we bought it. We tow a Nissan Juke with a 31' Class C. I only know it's back there when I check the rear camera. I have had zero problems with the Acme Tow Dolly. We are on the road now headed for Philadelphia from Oklahoma.
We are new to "camping" and someone we know recommended an Acme Tow Dolly. After researching all possibilities, we did decide on your product, and couldn't be happier! We did have a small issue with one taillight, but it was our fault. When I sent you an email, (and this was on a weekend), you responded immediately with a resolution.
