Staff was THE BEST!! We came this past weekend for a bachelorette party. I loved the decor & style of the place. But what truly made the experience was all the amazing front desk employees. Ken, Chandler, Justin, Mike, & Jon(with no h) had truly exceptional customer service. They were very helpful, fun, & patient with all of us crazy girls asking a million questions. Very eclectic and the food was good. Service was great and atmosphere was very cool! We will come back.
The room was very nice, no bathtub but it did have a very large walk in shower. The mini bar was one of the most extensive I have ever seen! Very, very impressive. Even the vintage style fridge was loaded with beer, sparkling, and crafty bloody Mary’s. My room had a guitar and a record player with plenty of records to choose from. The pillows and linnens were great. Full size toiletries in the shower too! The mini soap on a rope was pretty hilarious at the sink.
Wasn’t really impressed....I prefer coffee maker in the room and it is $8 to order to the room 🙄. They sent up coffee with cream and sugar and nothing to stir it with. Staff seems to be young and trendy, somewhat lacking of professionalism. I’ve stayed at several upscale hotels in New Orleans and ACE doesn’t compare. Hotel is right on the road, had to unload quickly (without an available luggage cart), very small lobby and noisy. Very dim lighting throughout.
