I wish I had read all these reviews before I applied for a payday loan at Ace Cash Express. All the reviews are negative and seem to follow the same trend. This place appears very shady! It seems like they just lie to all the customers. I needed some money to pay my tuition until I got paid, so I applied for a payday loan. I wouldnt do business here. I make good money and it shows on my statements. This place will give you the run around! From being approved for $255, then denied after. Got an email that said i was approved for 175 after that so the called me, took all of my banking information multiple times, then said i wasnt approved. BUT i should walk into a location and apply again? I feel so stupid for giving them my banking information.

I hope this goes to the correct store the address of the store is 5751 Main St N Ste 110, Jacksonville, FL XXXXX Ace Cash Express. On 06/01/2018, my loan was due. I called the store and spoke with non management. This person told me that I could not request a payment plan over the phone but can request a 7day extension. Thanked for the info, and continued on. I hired a person to work on my home which he did not complete, He asked if he could get paid and will finish the next day. I trusted this person because he did work on my home before so I paid him the full amount. The next day, he skipped on me so I canceled the check. I later found out that he was able to take it to ACE Cash Express and cash the check. This company ran a hard inquiry to my credit bureau report and I have no business with them what-so-ever. When I called to find out why they tried to run my credit they asked me for my social security number. It's a scam. Do not fall for it. They use their company name to run scams in the back ground to hurt consumers outside of Texas. I'm in Florida. Stay away from this non-accredited business. I was alerted by my credit monitoring that a hard inquiry by Ace Cash Express was reported. After going through several phone calls of which no one could tell me anything I was given an email address to write to. All I wanted was for them to remove the inquiry from my report and to send me a Credit Inquiry Removal Letter. Customer Service was horrible. The employee behind the counter had a horrible attitude. Talked down to me when I asked the simplest request. When I asked the employee not to continue to disrespect me he said he was refusing service and he was going to call the cops if I didn't the store immediately. I felt like I was being profiled.

This business has many locations. it is A cashing and payday loan service place. Offering other services as well. At ACE a form of checking account can be established and utilized similar to other checking accounts at other FDIC banks. Only difference is that there is a $15.00 fee to close the account. Be warned before utilizing this service of the unusual charge to close an account when other banks do not have a charge. You may as well go with an actual bank.
