BE AWARE. NO LONGER IN BUSINESSI bought a Carrier HVAc that cost me around 9,250 back in April 2019. I was told that Accel was becoming part of comfort depot. I also was told by mike the Installer that I will need to call back in the summer so they can come and check the gas in the unit to make sure had enough gas. I requested an in-home quote on a new A/C system on www.diycomfortdepot.com. They sent a salesman to my house, and after seeing the options he offered, I said I'd like the option that had a “variable speed” fan for about $700 more than the base model. Although they never said they were sending someone from a different company, and I didn't pay much attention to the contract having the name Accel at the top. My Service Technician was Greg Shaeffer, and he provided excellent service. Not only was he very professional/kowledgeable, he willing shared the service steps conducted, and was extemely pleasant and personable. Definitely an asset to the company!

Very strange and rude customer service. I called for a tune-up and scheduled an appointment. On the same day of the appointment they called to cancel because they said they had other clients that didn't have heating. That's ok, I accepted and re-scheduled and then when they came out they decided to charge me MORE THAN DOUBLE the amount that it was supposed to cost!!

The crew arrived on time and fully prepared to replace my heat pump, air handler, thermostat, and whole house humidifier. Because of some problems, they worked right through lunch and spent nearly 8 hours doing the job. They cleaned up and tested the unit and explained everything along the way. I couldn't be more pleased with them. I would highly recommend this company for all your heating problems. I think Mike and Factor are very professional and did an outstanding job. Thanks guys.
