The gentleman in loss prevention truly needs sensitivity training. I was excited about my purchases, but had to immediately return them after the LP employee followed me outside in the parking lot & watched me get into my vehicle after I had just reported him to the manager for pacing back & forth as I was trying to select some Nike gear for a family member. I received a rifle as a gift. I want a pistol of the same value.They would not let me trade for what I want as a Christmas gift. I have shopped there for years but not anymore.
Congratulations! In my 46 years I have never felt the need to give a review for anything. However after just leaving your store, that I frequent several times a month I might add, I will never spend another dime there. (and I've spent quite a few) You people have absolutely no concept of what customer service is. It's not a very good idea to try to make people look stupid just because your employees can't do their jobs efficiently. Keep in mind, these are people you are trying to get money out of.
just want to thank the management at this store, we were broke down in your parking lot, we checked with the store managers if it was ok to stay the nite in the parking lot, and was helped the following day to recover our vehicle the people at this store were great thanks again
So let's say the the manager let the thief LOAD the weapon with the amunition he was stealing and started KILLING Academy Customers. Instead of firing the manager we would be calling him a hero. Dang, the guy said he was going to "kill" somebody! The CEO should be giving him an award for risking his life to stop a potential killer, instead, he fires the guy. THIS ISN'T THE KIND OF PLACE I WILL EVER SPEND MY MONEY IN, I TRUST YOU WON'T EITHER!
We buy all of our family members' athletic shoes at Academy. We went on 5/31/18 to replace my daughters shoes after she ruined hers at the Panther Run. We looked for a few minutes for the color & style she wanted, but were unable to locate it on the shelf. I found an associate and asked for assistance. She was filling in from another department, but went out of her way to help us and found the style/color & size we needed! You have to look for an associate, but the ones we found were very helpful.
