Family favorite for beef & fish! – Family all enjoy different preps of steak. Also fish is excellent...particularly swordfish chop. Apps are also very satisfying as well as desserts. Service has always been excellent...all around steak house favorite for my entire family.
Got Steak? – Easily the finest steak establishment in Boston. The superb cuisine is supported by an excellent wine list, typical steakhouse decor and excellent service. The steak tartare and bone in fillet mignon with bearnaise sauce are my favorites.
awesome!!! – Awesome blue cheese mashed potatoes. Even if you don't like blue cheese which I don't. I tried them without knowing what was in them and it was love at first bite
The Westwood Group Rates High – This is a top of the line concept put forth by the Westwood Group. Having spent half my life in the industry, I consider my opinion expert as many do who ask me where's a good place to eat. This is one of those places. I recommend it for those that want especially steak. It's expensive but well worth the money.
PU, not a good experience. – I have to say only one thing, PU! I had an awful dinner and my guypal had the same problem (ordered a different entre). It may have been a fluke, but first impressions make or break a place.
A true International Feast – excellent meats and wines. prompt seating and the service was excellent
Ugh, never again – Never have I received such a lack of responsiveness at a "reputable"(???) restaurant. I dine out in nice restaurants often, both socially and with clients and this place should be embarrassed by the service they provide, I know I was! If you have a client in town, don't risk this one!
The Best Every Time You Go! – My Husband and I have been here several times, and we have gotten the best service and the food was fantastic every time. Need help with wine, they have a great wine steward who will suggest the best wine with your meal. Everytime we want to impress our friends, we bring them to Abe & Louie's.
Steak Out!!!! – I have become a regular attendee at this fine establishment. From the minute you enter the bar area you are immersed in one of Boston's finest restaurants. The SWORDFISH CHOP is excellent, as are all of the steaks. The salads are fresh and crisp. The wine list is more than adeequate.
