BEST CHEESE BURGER IN BOSTON – I go there just for the cheese burger. Cheddar cheese, side of fries- best 13 bucks I've ever spend. I always get great service-you can walk in and sit your self at the bar. The food comes fast and friendly staff. I tried the union strings the other day and was not impressed, but the bread basket and burger are great. you can walk in in casual or business casual-doesn't matter. BUT for the burger you must go at lunch, although i asked for the burger at dinner and got it anyways.

high quality and exquisite taste – My mother and I stumbled upon this restaurant and after comparing with the Atlantic fish co. next door decided that Abe and Louise's had more people. We started off sharing the Manhattan fish chowder (special) which did not resemble boston clam chowder at all (a relief). It was a orange broth with tender fish flakes and spicy sausage. The flavor was light, tangy and exciting. We then had the jumbo shrimp cocktail (menu). There were 4 pieces of shimp and two types of dip. The cocktail dip ha... read more

Great Lunch Spot! – My husband celebrated my 30th Birthday with a day in Boston, including Redsox-Yankee Game! We went to Abe & Louise's for lunch. We were seated immediately, even without a reservatio., We got a small table within arms length of of another party, which I guess you expect in Boston. We ordered the Abe & Louie Salad and the french onion soup for apps, both were execellent. For our main course we had the bone in filet, the 'special' blackened delmonico. Both were delisious, but the filet was Out of This World!... read more

Pretty good.....but could be better – This place certainly ranks among the top steakhouses in BOSTON...but if you've been around the country for business and had your fair share of business expense steaks you understand that they are pretty mediocre among the rest of the superpremium steakhouses. You can rattle off 10 steakhouses in NY alone that put this place in the minor leagues....BUT if you're in Boston you have limited options and it is certainly up to par with the other places in town. What they really need to improve... read more

Gone Down Hill! – My husband and I shared our first date here 4 years ago and went back to relive that great night. However we were highly disappointed. The server was sweet but lacked the professionalism and polish expected when paying over 40 dollars for a steak. The courses were rushed, in fact our steaks came out before the appetizer was cleared -- leaving us holding our plates in the air! The bus boy who was an older man was annoying and tried clearing our plates ten times! I got the bone in filet and it was fatty and u... read more

Great Food – I've been here a few times and everytime the food is cooked perfectly. The filet is always perfect and make sure you order it with the melted cheddar(along with the steak will be a small serving bowl with melted cheddar he will pour on top of the steak for you). The only problem I have with Abe and Louie's is, being significantly younger than most of the crowd, they tend to throw you in a corner or perhaps not be as attentive to your table. I see waitiers be very attentive to other tables of the older patrons bu... read more

Looking for a good steak? Abe and Louis is one of the best in Boston for a satisfying and generously sized filet. Their bar is also a hot spot for the young, professional crowd.

Same as always, lovely! – Walked in years ago shortly after their startup, still love it. Pricey yes, a bit loud, but the food.... it IS worth it! Try the seared ahi, amazing. Go Thursday and do try the Beef Wellington. Tomato and Great Hill Bleu Cheese salad: love it. This has been a favorite for years. Mario is an amazing server. I've NEVER been disappointed.
