We went to the shelter yesterday to look at the dogs. As we walk-through someone caught our attention with her big brown eyes. It was done. She picked us. We went back and filled out the paperwork. Everyone at the shelter was friendly and very efficient. It was a wonderful experience. We are so happy to have Shelly in our forever home.
We adopted Julie today and she is adapting very well to her new home! The staff was very nice and caring and went over Julie's medical records very thoroughly.
We are absolutely in LOVE! We stopped by last weekend to look at cats...but spotted a little female chihuahua named Roxanne. She was just too sweet, had a litter, been in foster care, and so sweet just through kennel interaction. We were not looking for a pup as we had two already so we left.
