We visited a couple of times before our cat adopted us. We visited the Cat Lanai and the kitten rooms, but our cat, named Stitch (renamed Schrödinger by us) was waiting for us in the hallway inside a solitary cage. On our first meeting with her, we extended a finger and the cat reached out to us. A week later, we visited the Lanai and the rooms again, but also stopped at the cages to check on Stitch. Amazing experience adopting our new fur baby Renny. The whole staff was so kind and took the time to help us get him ready to go. They all came around to say their goodbyes to him. I like how the profile process went. They take great care in making sure you know what you're getting into and making sure he was the right pet for us and we would be good for him. Nice clean kennels. It was a very busy day. A lot of dogs were going out that day and the process went quickly. Over all a great experience.
This facility and their staff are garbage. Decided to support a non-profit veterinary practice for my new rescue and I'm sorry I chose this one. Rude, incompetent staff lead by the ever so arrogant Dr. Lazarus. Had an appointment for 9:15am and was seen until noon. Best part was - I got penalized $10 for rescuing a dog off the street that wasn't pre-neutered. I'll make sure next time I save an animal, to make sure they're neutered. If they're not, they can live they're life on the street.
