Improve their Emergency Room response time. Waiting 5 hrs is unacceptable for a medical emergency. Loss of vision is a serious emergency. Left without any sort of treatment, or visit from a doctor.
The staff could spend less time visiting with each other, and more time with their patients. In the ER I had injuries from a car accident that were not even addressed(chest, legs, knees)They just put an Ace bandage on my right ankle(left was also injured) and sent me on my way.
RecommendedI went to Mercy ER with pain in my left leg. The staff saved my life by identifying a bacterial infection that had spread to my blood. The staff and doctors were efficient and very understanding. They explained everything to me in terms I could understand. They were excellent. I have no hesitation about ever going back to Mercy Hospital.
RecommendedThe nursing staff are amazing people. They took such great care of my Mom and family.
If you care about the welfare of your family and children, keep them away from this place. They care more about making money and covering up misconduct than they do about helping people. Their integrity line is a joke and so are most of the people who work here.
