Used them for both my mother and father and they were very professional and kind. They took all the time I needed to ask questions and than answered everyone of them. Took care of all the paperwork once my signature was done. I couldn't have asked for a more polite group of people. My father had chosen them prior to his death and the experience was so great that we then used them for my mother. We had both parents cremated per their wishes. We had no problems at all.

Would recommend this company under any circumstances. They were very kind and compassionate in taking care of my mom's body with complete respect and Mr. Boles and Mr. Nagel, whom I both dealt with treated me like family. Highly recommended, no issues. Great Value – IN 2007, my brother was broke, in debit...Abanks helped me take care of all the requirements at1/3rd of the LEAST cost options I could find... and am making preparations for them to help me handle my mother's planning for the eventual day...Knowing they charge so little in comparison to many other facilities, I'm not unhappy to make sure that I help them get things done and reverify as they aren't charging like a 5 Star hotel for consierge service!

Unfortunate experience – ABanks was a choice my brother made. Unfortunately the staff is not the most professional. The man who came to the house was super... but then I had problems with them doing simple things asked of them...like faxing a release to the local paper so we could run an obituary...????whats up with that???? So we had my brothers entire services and not able to run his obit...very untruthful when confronted---blamed the newspaper---but then admitted to the paper they ...forgot...still didn't do it the 2nd ti... read more

Highly recommend! – My mom just passed away and my family and I were very unprepared to pay funeral costs at your regular funeral home. When they gave us a price of $15,000 to $16,000 we knew we could not afford that. The lady at the funeral home suggested we look into using Abanks. It was the best decision we could have made. We were able to have my mothers viewing AND memorial service at our church which in the end proved to be VERY beneficial because there was no way that the crowd of people that showed up could have fit ... read more

Heartless A holes DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! – Abanks Mortuary & Crematory The worst F'n Funeral home experience in my life. My Wife Died in 2007 we only had enough to do it here I was done in a room that was only accessible to the whole facility they tromped through there with no privacy The owner or one of them a tall slightly blond headed "Ass" yelled at us saying whoever's kids they need to get them under control and I said I would get their mother to but SHE IS DEAD INSIDE!!!!! Abanks funeral home - not a good choice – Beware- unscrupulous business practices. I do not recommend this funeral home. They’re treatment toward me was immoral and shows the ownership has lost sight of helping people and basic common decency. I hope you can find a better place to handle the final care of your loved one. Good luck to you and God Bless, Richard Amos
