My central air suddenly stopped working. I agreed to have this company send a tech to investigate. The phone rep told me it would be a completely free estimate. The tech looked at my system, checked wires, etc. He was very pleasant. He told me I need to replace the entire system, which would cost $10,000. I do not have $10K, and my credit is not good enough for financing. After finding this out, the tech then wrote up an invoice for a service call and charged me $145. It was a difficult installation with a computer interface between the air handler and thermostats, but they perservered. They were professional all the way.
They did not do the work they were hired to do. Fast talker Dom plowed his way in and proceeded to brush out the furnace when he was asked to clean out the a/c coils etc. Simply ran a hose through the condenser outside, never touching the A frame at all. Pushed a clog out of the condenser hose and charged 228 dollars. I was told they did vents by whomever answered the phone....they did not do vents I was told upon arrival. Fast response time with quality service.
It was one of those really hot days when my A/C decided to stop working. Getting a repairman out to my house was a challenge. I like the fact that someone was always answering the phone, and I understand they were swamped, but I spent a good part of my day waiting, after being promised time and again that I was next in line....? In the end, I was happy to get the A/C back on track and they were pleasant to work with.
the guy know what he was doing but the price was too high
Perhaps it's just me but I thought paying $250. to unclog a bathtub drain was a bit overpriced..I see the same service advertised regularly at $99. by a local plumbing service. I should have just called them in the first place. Otherwise Absolute Plumbing was fine on arrival time, professionalism, etc.
Had an issuing with final pricing that has to be approved by a supervisor, but I was told they were sending one on the initial visit.
For competence, service, price, etc., they are ASTOUNDINGLY GREAT! Their advice and patience in answering questions are a model for ALL sales and service people Ed Campana
