Great service! Jeff arrived on time (actually early), was fast, accurate and courteous. Garage door opens and closes much quieter now. We've been using Armstrong for a number of years now and we're always completely satisfied.

On 5/24/2023, your tech John was to be here at 10.00 a.m. He called a little before 9:00 a.m. saying he completed his first job and could he arrive early. It worked for me. He showed up and went right to work analyzing the situation with the door. He adjusted the rails and said that was the problem. I asked about the rollers. He said there was a little play in them but they were ok. I had him replace them as I am getting ready to sell my home and want the door to work correctly. We asked for an estimate on costs when we called, they indicated they couldn't provide an estimated cost for a broken spring, 1.5 hours of work, cost $1200 for a spring replacement, Two different springs were installed, 1 oil tempered and 1 galvanized when I asked why not have both oil tempered spring since owner touts only using oil tempered on You Tube (youtu.be/MBQQw_m-CBM). We apologize for this 1 star experience. We do not worry about what other garage door companies are doing. We do not go out and take advantage of seniors. We DO have an obligation as garage door professionals to provide long term solutions/repairs. We also have an obligation to let you know if there are any other failing parts, which a lot of other companies do not do. My garage door would not open more then 10 inches. I called Armstrong Garage Door, Inc. and they sent out Jeff. He took one look and knew what the problem was ( broken spring) had it fixed in no time. Jeff was very good at explaining why it broke ( they last between 6-10 years, and they had replaced mine 8 years ago). I guess I will call them in another 8 years.
Having Rocky come out every year is a Blessing; he knows his job and is Excellent at what he does...He is a Big reason we have stayed with Armstrong over 8 years...Love that they call every year for maintenance also....

On 10/31/22 my garage door springs and spring pad were replaced costing around $1500. On April 8, 2023 the garage door was slamming shut when I closed it. ****** replaced the springs because they both need to be large instead of one small and one large. He said he had to reset motor 30 times in which then the garage door wouldn't close. He said motor overheated. Finally it closed. I am very upset with A1 Garage Door for misleading information. I called for garage door service the morning of May 18th. The male who answered the phone set up a time for service that afternoon. While completing the call, he said A1 Garage Door would be out between 1 and 6. My reply was oh no, I thought I was talking to Overhead Door.
