I hired A1 Garage Door to replace 2 springs. It was over $900 for 2 mid range 5 yr springs which is crazy high. I complained to their manager and he agreed to refund $100 to me. That was the end of November. They lied and said it was sent but it wasn't. Literally 25 calls later still nothing. Today I was told their system to cut checks is down....for 2 months? Simply a bad company to do business with. Find another garage door repair company.

I asked them to do a service which they advertise for $129 which included replacing the rubber at the base or new rollers. They ended up replacing the motor and did no servicing. but had numerous extra charges. Their interest is to do as much upselling as possible and as little work. The one thing they did point out was that the springs were showing signs that they may break sometime, which they did yesterday so I could not open the door and go out.I called them and told them the springs needed to be replaced.The technician ... read more
