I had their Tech out today 10/25/2021. He was very knowledgeable, and knew his stuff. I had a door opener, that I had since new 2007. It had never been touched. I new the electric panel was toast. Now that was it, but no.! Since he knew his stuff, and was not giving me the hard sell. I had him re build the springs, and some other updates. Door replacement was required and the proposal was well within cost expectation. The date of install was secured and the morning of the install we received a call stating they were on their way. 10 minutes latter Jeff and Ryan showed up and their skills were immediately apparent. The old door, runners and opener were removed, they then quickly assembled the new door and installed the runners with care. The overall installation was excellent. Caution! $$$I asked for a ballpark price over the phone and they said a technician would have to come out and assess the job first before quoting a price. The service technician was very nice and knowledgeable. I was quoted a $936 to replace two torsion springs with a lifetime warranty and a reinforcement bracket, but was told it might be more if they find any problems with any of the other mechanical parts. Do yourself a favor and get a 2nd quote. I didn't and it cost me 4 times what it should have to replace my garage door springs. When they quoted the replacement cost for the repair it seemed very high. But, with the current Covid19 supply problems I assumed they were competitive with the other garage door companies. To my regret I was very wrong. It's my own fault for approving the work before getting a 2nd quote.

In late August 2021 we lost the use of our garage door. it was at least 20 years old. After two decades of use and surviving all the hurricanes that have come through Orlando in those years, the door basically came apart at the top where it was physically connected to our garage door opener. Armstrong had put up that door, so I gave them a call to come out and assess the problem and any solutions to fix it. Not only was the top panel coming apart, but the spring was also broken. If you want professional, fast, courteous service....you must call Jeff at Armstrong Garage door. Showed up exactly when he said he would and replaced the parts in a timely manner. Call...you'll be happy you did!
