Patricia was great! – I went to 77 Maidenlane for the first time today and have mixed reviews. The lounge/waiting area is a little too noisy for my taste, I prefer quiet places where cellphone use is strictly prohibited... the girl sitting across from me got 2 calls while we were waiting... however, Patricia gave me an EXCELLENT deep cleansing facial. Talented Facialist in Busy Spa Setting – Although I believe that 77 Maiden Lane is too busy to be a relaxing day spa, it does house one of the best facialists in San Francisco. Growing up with problematic skin, I believe I am well informed when it comes to quality and effective facials. If you want to go to the best, ask for Scott Fischer. NO Pamper at Maiden Lane – This is the WORST spa I have ever been to! You would expect pampering at a spa but don't expect that when you go to Maiden Lane. The place is like a ZOO! I called in to make an appointment but when I got there the appointment was lost. The staff did absolutely nothing to help me out. I sat around waited for another hour and got a half hour massage instead of the one hour massage that I originally wanted. YOU will be treated like a NUMBER there. Service is horrible.

They gave me a permanent bad hair day. – I didn't have the pleasure of getting spa treatments, so I can't nail them on that. But the dude who layered my hair massacred it.

Efficient and trendy, choose Max.ii – When I go to 77 Maiden lane, I always see Max for a trendy and expedient haircut. I like an active and light look, that accentuates my eyes and facial features. Max has a very strong intuition, and once the inspiration comes -which doesn't take long-, she goes for it assertively. You don't waist any time with Max, and you walk out enlightened and happier. The staff is always been very kind to me.

No pampering here! – I expected luxury and got run of the mill. Decore really needs update and staff do not make much of an effort to make you feel welcome. Have had much better experiences elsewhere. Massage was great but HORRIBLE noise level outside of massage room. Someone should tell these people to be quiet while massages are in progress - bathroom across the hall didn't help either. Manicure was good, but took 45min. No drying machine. Won't go again

Not a place to relax – I'm not saying that the services aren't wonderful but due to the variety of services they offer (from hair to nails to facilas) and the space-- it's not a good place to come and relax-- which defeats the whole purpose of going to a "Spa" (at least if you ask me). Too much noise. Too crowded. But the service is good and the treatments are great.

The best of both worlds! – To call 77 a spa is wrong. It is a salon with a day spa added. I love to go and get my hair done and a pedicure whenever I can. Then if I have time I schedule a massage or facial. I get the best of both worlds. The staff I have dealt with are fantastic and now that I know them it is even better. All I can say if you expect this to be a spa only you will be disappointed but if you want a great salon and spa services also, you will love 77 Maiden Lane!
