Filled me up! – I really liked the 5-8 Club, especially the Juicy Lucy. They give a warning about how hot the molten cheese is inside the burger and I think it is rightly so. I thoroughly enjoyed my stop here and would recommend it to anyone.
Yummy : ) – I have yet to find a more perfect hambuger joint. The burgers are the perfect size--not to big, not too small--and the portion of french fries given complements nicely. It's the only restaurant that I can finish my entire meal in! Service may be a little slow sometimes, but as long as you're in good company, it doesn't really matter. People shouldn't eat out if they are in a hurry anyway, right?

Juicy Lucy – The name says it all, one of the best burgers I have ever had. Hats off to Lucy for lending her name to the burger
Lackluster Lucys – It doesn't come close to Matt's Juicy Lucy. Matt's Juicy Lucy is plump, and full of molten hot cheese. And is served with a direct warning from the staff about your first bite. The 5-8 Club did not have as nearly as much cheese inside, and the cheese that was in there was lukewarm at best, along with the rest of the burger. The fries at Matt's are also better. If you want a Juicy Lucy....GO TO MATT'S!!!!
Lots of great comfort foods – The 5-8 offers lots of great comfort food. When I say "lots" I'm not only referring to the menu choices, but to the portion sizes. Every entree is big enough to share, but the food is so good you probably won't want to! Prices are very reasonable and believe it or not they even sell a pretty decent glass of wine for around two bucks. The 5-8 is cookin'! – I'm a regular patron of the 5-8 and have also tried the Juicy Lucy at Matt's, and I have to say I am sure that the burger at the 5-8 is tops. Any Juicy Lucy is good, but the 5-8's is bigger, has more cheese, and has terrific onions, especially if fried. The atmosphere at the 5-8 is also really great -- always nice people with good conversation, and since they remodeled the inside, it's also a really neat place to eat -- especially given the unique history of the establishment.
