Great Food @ Great Prices – Great food at great prices!!! Try the Walleye Fingers they are great! My husband and I have always had good service when we went. It is always crowded because the food is just that good!

Good Eats – Highly recommended especially if your wife is prego and craving a Juicy lucy!! Not too many places a couple can go and eat for $25.. great burgers and apps.

The 5-8 is Top Notch – I love the 5-8. My family loves the 5-8, and all of my friends love the 5-8. Classic american food that tastes so good. After your first time, you will crave the 5-8. All of the apps are wonderful. The juicy lucy is better than Matt's because you have a choice of about 4 different cheese. It can definately get busy, so you may have to wait, but it does help in the summer when the patio is open. Please don't be that guy who walks past the line of people to look for a table. Locals come for American-style comfort food in a relaxed setting. – In Short In spirit, it's a basement rec room, with faux wood paneling on the walls, drink signs and lots of familiar faces. The screened-in porch is great for summertime dining. Not too many surprises on the all-American roadhouse menu. For starters, there's spiced buffalo wings and deep-fried cheese curds. Avoiding the mythical Juicy Lucy is not an option. The Hangover is a fried pork tenderloin sandwich, named so for its size.

Great Food At A Low Price!!! – One of my friends took me to 5-8 & I was Hooked!! I take lots of people there myself. The Burgers are good. The Jo-Jo's are better than the fries. The juicy lucy's are great. I disagree w/ the not a Date Place(Even thought I've not been on a real date for some time.) The food is alot better than these chain resturaunts that promise your food will be hot, but don't deliver. This place delivers on that promise.

It was Great! – Our Trip to the 5-8 club (cedar at hwy 62) was a great experience! It reminded me of my small farm town days- Great home cooking type of food with very friendly and good service. The juicy-lucy burger with fried onion was super! so were are sides- great atmosphere, even the other patrons were friendly. The bathrooms were about as clean as I have ever seen. We are sure we will be going back again and again!

All around good food – I really enjoy the 5-8 Club but I think they have a reputation built on the wrong thing. They automatically gain critcism from me for fryin, not grilling their burgers. They are still good though. I think they have other sandwiches whaich are far better. The Philly is excellent and especially if you get the Au Juis. I wish they would offer a whole wheat bun for their burgers and other hot sandwiches. The fries are to die for and it seems like there are never enough in the basket. Not a date place – We love this place with our kids. Ambience is not great (clean, but plain) food is good, prices are excellent. Watch the daily special boards for some real deals. Some of the best Juicy Lucys in town! Good cole slaw, and quick, quick service. A step above fast food. Don't drive to "the better known place" near Flying Cloud when you've got something better here!

5.8 Continues On – What a Place! I'm going on my 30th year of eating here (we used to stop off after a trip to the old Metropolitan Stadium). Great Food, esp. the Jucy Lucy, and the service has always been one on the best!
