All of their Gyms are closed due to COVID-19 yet I was still charged for my monthly fee and I have no access to the gym. I tried calling to freeze my account but their call centers are closed. I have also sent emails and nothing. I feel I should get reimbursed for March 2020 and not charged for any month that their gym is closed due to not being an essential business.

Probably the worst reaction to the pandemic in regards to taking care of the customer. Closed all gyms and you can only alter your membership through calling...except they closed their call centers also. Oh, and they still had the audacity to charge, when they finally reached out a week after I made an email complaint, they offered to freeze my account for a monthly fee...for a service they weren't providing.

I submitted a cancellation request through their online portal, which is the only way to get a hold of anyone, and they still charged my card. This is absolutely abhorrent. Slimy, despicable company.

Since the declaration of a National Pandemic in the United States, many companies closed due to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. Many of these companies are compassionate of the personal financial issues within each American home. Unfortunately 24 Hour Fitness disregarded this. I have been a member of 24 Hour Fitness since 2010. I never had any issues in the past. They need to be freezing accounts during the pandemic. How can you charge people for a service you are not providing? How can you add lost time to the end of the membership when I pay monthly?

Will not freeze membership due to all locations being closed. No customer service and no help at all! I did not get a membership for only on-line workouts. I signed up for use of equipments and the amenities this establishment offers. However, these are not available until further notice. Why not freeze payments just like you've frozen the use of your gyms!

This isnt right!! The fact that they wont let members freeze or cancel their accounts for the time being is down right dirty. Why should I still be paying for this membership if your facility is closed. I pay for 2 memberships and they wont even let me put it on hold. This is hiway robbery. Why should we members have to pay for a subscription that we cant even use?

Absolutely DISGUSTED by the way this place is taking advantage of their customers and not responding to ANY inquiries regarding billing. Shouldn’t there be someone working from home taking care of this? This company only cares about money and karma is going to hit them hard. I can only imagine how many loyal customers they’re about to lose because of this. I’m being charged $42 dollars for a facility I can’t even use!! How is this legal?
