Out a $1,000. I had a monthly membership that I froze during COVID. I saw a monthly charge posted to my credit card today. Called the gym and was told the “freeze” had been removed and they started charging me again on May 25. 2021 America? I'm upset, disappointed, and sad about my experience today at this San Ramon 24 hour fitness. I had a long work day. I just wanted to get a quick workout in and take a shower, before heading on my 1 1/2 drive home. So, I wanted to use the leg press machine. All potential customers of 24 Hour Fitness should be very careful with this ¨Business¨ . They are Scammers, they don't cancel the memberships when you ask them to. Then they use your credit card to charge you for services that you never used and WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. I have already reported 24 Hour Fitness to the ******* ***** **********. I cancelled my membership last year during business closure. It has recently come to my attention they are still charging me for unwanted membership services. This is not a reflection on a local gym, but a company problem which does not care about the individualcustomer.
I have inquired a lawyer in regards an employee @ 24 fitness madera in Simi Valley for disclosing my address to non members who drove to my home property who neighbors witness and made threats in relates to a situation occurred hours before. The fact that employees of 24 fitness disclose my personal home address is a major violation. Unacceptable and I will take a lawsuit action for disclosing person information.
So 24 Hour Fitness is really out here SCAMMING THEIR CUSTOMERS in the middle of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC! After 14 months they suddenly decided to charged me without any notice just because they had my bank information. These people are very deliberately making it nearly impossible for people to cancel memberships even though the gyms are closed. It's criminal and they ought to be prosecuted for it. They have been charging me month after month. You email them to cancel through their website and get no reply. Can't get anyone on the phone. Absolutely horrible customer service and they deserve to go bankrupt with business practices like this.
