What great renovations and new exhibits to the LP zoo! We were planing to go to another zoo but then remembered how nice the place is. Granted some exhibits were not open but that is to be expected with some of the animals. I liked that the rhinos had a lot more space then they used to! What a wonderful experience I would recommend this free zoo to anyone visiting or living in the Chicago area!
What a beautiful attraction for the people of Chicago to enjoy! We were visiting the area for the ECNL Playoffs in Rockford. But we wanted to take in the sights on our day off. The girls loved the polar bears! Even the big cats were active because the weather was so nice. It was a real treat!

The zoo is always a wonderful place to go especially when admission is free. They have updated several animal areas to make it even more enjoyable.
