Loved it! Needed something to do for 3 hours while downtown with a 4 year old. The two of us had a fantastic time! Very clean and the staff are very friendly. I will come back the next time we get a chance and definitely donate. The staff out on training and feeding sessions for the crowd which are also entertaining. Don't be afraid to visit when it's raining either. There are plenty of buildings to take cover just bring an umbrella to walk between them. It was a WONDERFUL experience! We had a perfect day, weather-wise, too. Numerous animals did not make appearances but this that did were great. One older couple who goes here often showed us some of the birds - big birds! - we couldn't find and shared so much!! Zoo was free but parking! - $35.00 for maybe 4 hours!! So much for city life!! Gotta learn the tricks of city living!! I would go back to do more sight seeing anytime!!
I've been coming here since I was a kid! You guys keep making it better and better. I still can't believe it's free. Thank you to all the donors out there that keep this zoo alive!
Well kept, good for the kids to learn about animals especially the Farm Zoo. One negative, the inside enclosures are just to small (for apes and cats) and the animals look sad in there. Overall, good family experience.
