1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. Great service, great atsmophere, great food, sat outside on Front Street and had fun people watching, I especially liked the portable bar they mix your drink at your table.
First time we went to 1909 just because it's one of the places we could bring our puppy. Food is not bad, service is good and I guess my puppy enjoyed the food cuz we had to order her a second helping. She had ribeye steak and rice and we ordered hamburger and rice for her second plate.
I liked it. could use more options in my opinion.
Always delicious and the staff is fantastic! Atmosphere is perfect for family or date night!
My complaint is not with the food it was that the ball was dropped on my husband's birthday. It sucks cause this was our first time there and now this is the impression that I have. I told the hostess why we were here and she said no worries she would let our waitress know; obviously she didnt. I just wanted my husband to have a nice time and feel celebrated. Still talking about it the day after! We love the quality of the food but our servers and staff so awesome! So friendly and know about every dish when questions were asked. Just a great place to eat for any occasion!!! Thank you So Much!
My only experience: Service slow to non existant (I left, tired of waiting for the food....but maybe it's gotten better.) Looks very popular. I think the layout is a challenge to the wait staff, especially on the Jefferson Street side. Hope they improve.
