1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. One of the best chicken burgers � I've had in a long time. And are waitress was amazing and she was very nices. Great service there.
Not my first time going here.. we went for happy hour yesterday wine was $2 off and beer was $1 off.. I had 3 glasses and simple math is $12 TOTAL!! Next the babes got 2 beer so then add tax right??? How would this plce give me a damn $35 bill?!! I don't think so. It took 3 men to figure out the math and after I got really mad because the guy was only giving me originally $5 off the $35 tab it got to $23... after I got pissed and wasn't going to take it. My GF and I went there for the first time on Saturday and I have nothing bad to say about the place. Appetizers were good and the burger was delicious. The beers were yummy. Micheladas were good.
Excellent service, attentive without being intrusive. Loved sitting street-side and the relaxed atmosphere, misters keeping things comfortable. I LOVED the Cream of mushroom soup and the White Pear Balsamic Salad with chicken was really good! My friend really enjoyed the Fish Tacos.... we ate so well we couldn't even consider dessert, but we'll be sure to try it next time. Definitely a new favorite!
Good food and drinks. If you like bourbon try the Smokey old fashion.
I get the chicken sammie every time and it is always the bomb!
