Dr Rook has been our Vet since 1989. Our cat was attacked by our dog in the middle of the night. Dr Rook met my husband at the clinic about 2am! A man with a heart of gold! Thank you Dr Rook and staff.
The best doctor and staff in the world I will never take my animals anywhere else
My cat had stopped eating and needed immediate help. Dr. Rook took excellent care of her and ran every test possible to figure out what was wrong. He kept her for four weeks on antibiotics and round the clock care. He did everything he could for her. The cost for everything was less than one blood test done at a different vet. He is a great man that truly cares about your pet. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a new vet.
Dr Rook has been taking care of all of our fur babies past & present for about 15 years. Love him & his staff!

Judy and I moved to Midlothian in the late ‘80s and met Dr. Jim Rook and his family not long after that. We’re dog lovers and he and his staff have always taken great care of our pets and their humans. We followed him when he opened his own business; 14th St Vet Clinic. I’m confident that the other Vets in town are great, but I support Dr. Rook and his people because of his great exam room manor, his honesty and integrity, and his soft heart.
