A Positive Experience – I looked for months for a tattoo shop that I would feel comfortable in. When I walked into Zulu Tattoo, I knew it was the place. The people were super friendly and the place is gorgeous! This was my first tattoo. Zulu worked with me to find just the right design. It was truly a personal experience! The tattoo came out better than expected and now I'm hooked!! Thanks Zulu and Khani-Jo for such a positive first tattoo experience. I'll be back!
Lantz is the best around, hands down! – I have had numerous bad tattoo experience, and to finally find someone like Lantz is certainly finding a needle in a haystack! With my lack of ideas, Lantz has taken my kernals of information I have given him and has come up with beautiful ideas! He has incorporated my old tattoo's into the new, in a seamless, innovative and very "me" kinda way. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Lantz, and I would recommend him to everyone! HE ROCKS!
A Unique Experience – I was very pleased with my tattoo by Lantz as well as the entire experience at Zulu Tattoo. Lantz worked with me every step of the way, sending me drawing after drawing until the perfect one was designed. Getting a tattoo is no small matter and he treated it with care and consideration - I won't go anywhere else now! Give 'em a shot, you won't be sorry.
Tattoos to be proud of wearing for a lifetime! – I have had the pleasure of getting several tattoos from Lantz @ Zulu, everything from an amazing set of skeleton sparrows on my chest, to large peacocks on my calves, and a very intricate lock on the back of my neck! All hype with great decor – Don't believe the hype. This place isn't worth your time. The service is horrible! LA is full of great artists at many different shops, and they won't treat you like you're a burden on their busy schedule. The folks at Zulu will cancel at the last minute (like the same damn day) on you. It happened to me twice. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE is all I have to say. I give them thumbs up for the great interior design, and major thumbs down for making me feel like my time isn't as important as their own.
Terrible customer service – Truthfully, I had heard good things about this shop and was excited that I could share in the design of my tattoo. Initally they were very responsive to me, but after trying to call them back over 10 times and leaving message after message and sending multiple e-mails, I eventually got extremely frustrated at the lack of response. AMAZING EXPERIENCE – This was an amazing experience working with Zulu and Khani-Jo. I went in for a consultation and was treated with patience and respect. I was very nervous and they made me feel comfortable and at home. The overall customer service was top notch! Zulu really was patient with me in creating a design! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone! You won't be disappointed!
