Dr. Zmaj has treated my disabled daughter for serious kidney stone issues for many years, including at least 8 surgical procedures. Were it not for his knowledge and patience, her function rate would not have improved from under 40 % to 85% . He has always been honest about risks and the possibility of a procedure failure. Sometimes office wait time is long, but we trust his expertise and judgement to help my daughter maintain her best urological health and functioning.
I made a scheduled appointment with Dr. Zmaj's office. On the morning of the appointment after waiting an hour and a half to see the doctor, I asked a nurse how much longer before we could be seen. I was told we still had other patients waiting before us. Since I was waiting with two active, small children who I was trying to keep occupied, I decided to end my term as a hostage.
