I love Zilker Park!!! There's so much that goes on at Zilker! On just about any given day you can see people throwing a towel/blanket down and reading a great book, having a picknik and cooking out, playing soccer (or some other sport), walking/jogging/running, pushing a stroller, flying a kite, people playing fetch with their dogs, etc. I even saw someone put up a hammock yesterday. They only thing I'm not crazy about is when there are special events held and the park seems to get closed off quite a bit.
Great experience, clean and somewhat crowded with dogs, cyclists and joggers.
