It was an absolute beautiful day to be at the park!! Wonderful breeze blowing and relaxing!!
This is a beautiful, wide open space with the Austin skyline in full view. People have blanket picnics, play sports, run through with their dogs and throw frisbees and balls for their own dogs and others'. I went alone with my leashed pup to just hang out on a blanket in the sun - perfect day!!
One of Austin's crown jewels. it is an ancient sacred place where people and wildlife congregate. There can be a congestion issue at times but that is to be expected given the population boom. I recommend treading lightly so the subtle majesty can move forward unhindered. Love your Mother😉

Zilker is a great place my dogs love it
Gorgeous views, amazing area to walk around in. Lots of people and dogs to socialize with. Lots of space for the pups to run around. It’s not fenced in though, so keep a close eye on the babies, and there’s only one water fountain, by the big rock formation as well as very little shade. But if you’re just going out for an hour or two it’s a wonderful spot to hang out.
