RecommendedI have been seeing Dr. Leffingwell for years, and despite moving an hour out of town, I still make the trip- all eye doctors are not created equally! A few years back my insurance changed and I had to go to a different doctor, which was a negative experience, so I was thrilled when my insurance changed again and I was able to get back in here! I do really like Dr. Leffingwell but I am out of contacts and they won’t get me in for a month. I had my prescription and contacts from them last time. Agree with the other comments about “fitting” fee that just absorbs all your benefits.
I have excellent eye care insurance that covers everything - I had my exam and my contact prescription and brand of contacts did not change - yet they charged me $100 - the explanation was that way I could come back in and have additional fittings in case my contacts didn’t work out - yet my prescription and brand didn’t change from what I had previously so I know they work just fine. We must have to I pay for that fancy showroom! Plain and simple - don’t go here if you don’t want unnecessary up-charges!
Great service from the minute I walked in the door. State of the art equipment. Dr. Dave and Torre were a great help in making my choices. The best visit I have ever had to an eye exam appointment. Thanks all!
Company policy dictates that I had a $75 copay I was not aware of prior to examination and they wouldn’t bill it and refused to see me. This would have been a great thing to know up front so I could have planned for it. Looking for a new eye doctor.

My 1st experience was this week for my son and myself. What a huge change from the previous place I went to for 5 years. They were on time, thorough - didn't feel rushed, friendly, professional, and lots of great reasonable options for glasses and contacts!
After 30 years at my old eye Dr. I was very hesitant to go to a new place. I have a very tricky prescription. I got my glasses today and I’ve never been able to see this clearly before! I’m very happy! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable Dr/staff and caring office. My family will be going here now. I found my new “home” Thank you!
Been going here for years. Everyone is always so friendly and willing to help. Actually just hand an appointment the other day with Dr Leffingwell left with a trial contact lens after talking about how I have been using Hubble lenses he sent me another trial contact in the mail that is more breathable material. Just goes to show this place cares about their patients!
