It was delicious and we are extremely picky eaters.
I want to focus on the meatloaf meal for this post. I’ve ordered this “to go” half a dozen times now over the past few months. It has been amazing every time. Excellent portion size, the flavors of the bacon wrapped meatloaf never disappoint. The chunky potatoes are also a favorite and the green veg has been great every time! For me it’s always split into two meals making it a little more cost effective. Met friends there on Sat. afternoon when it was not very busy. It took the wait staff 20 minutes to recognize we were there and finally brought out water. The young waitress took our drink order and disappeared for another 10 minute before one of us went to the bar to retrieve some of the drinks. I ordered a Laketown Brown Ale. She came out with a glass of very pale beer. I said that isn't what I ordered. They don't have the item that was on the menu but her is something like it. She had no clue. Horrible experience, took a date there and it was 15 minutes before our waitress acknowledged us. When she did she was rude. Generally when you go to a restaurant they ask for your drink order not here they say “Wanna order?” When we finally ordered our drinks she took or id’s as expected but was gone for 10 minutes and then threw them back on the table without saying anything. I told my date to grab her stuff and we left. I will never be back here and I’m going to make sure everyone knows what horrible service we received.
Went for Valentines Day. Besides having a very limited menu, I got the red snapper which the first one was severely over cooked. It looked like it was grilled and thrown on a steam table for hours, drying it out. I sent it back and the second one wasn’t much better. It was still over cooked but at least edible. However it was very bland with no seasoning. My fiancée had the shrimp and clam linguine. The shrimp was over cooked also and she got about half as much food as every other person got.
