Running a 40w portable unit to provide power to a teardrop trailer. Excellent product and excellent customer service.
I installed a Zamp system on my 2014 Fifth Wheel. 3/150 solar panels with a 3000 watt inverter has worked great. We can use the microwave / TV / lights at night and it will charge back up the next day if the sun is out. It will work 3 to 4 days with out the sun. Then the Gen comes on to charge back up in about 2 to 3 hrs. I have a meter that will tell me how much charge is in my battery's and how much its charging or discharging. Love the way this system works. The People at Zamp are great to work with. I recommend a Zamp sy... read more
My Zamp solar controller was not working properly in my Winnebago View. I sent an inquiry to Zamp through its website last Thursday about 8:00 pm. My phone rang the next morning about 9:00 am. Two hours later, Joe sent me an email confirming that the controller was improperly wired and sent a picture showing the correct way to wire it. I rewired... read more
I drove over to ZAMP yesterday to try an figure out why my 120-watt portable panel had quit working. Josh, one of their tech leads, was able to diagnose the problem as a failed controller (not surprising considering that the unit is 5+ years old) and fixed it with a new (and much improved) controller. Many thanks to Josh and the crew at ZAMP for getting my panel back into working condition!
Morgan Koob and the Zamp Solar team provided incredible service during our purchase of a 120W portable system for our full-timing RV adventures. Morgan queried me for typical power loads, types of batteries, and travel conditions before recommending a system. Zamp has a well deserved reputation for quality and service and we are thrilled to be new customers!
Just completed my first summer with zamp panels. Everything worked great!! My 160 watt portable system plugs into the camper maintaining to two Trojan T-105's. Can't wait until next year!!! I'm in the Adirondacks, if you need a reference to anyone in this area, I'll gladly show them my set up.
