Dr Yu was completely unprofessional and did not offer any help. I left the office with no information ,or recommendation regarding my skin irritation. I was shocked by the way she spoke to me. I do not usually leave reviews but I had to seek out a different Doctor for another exam. They diagnosed Basal cell carcinoma and prescribed treatment. I would not recommend Dr Yu.
I waited over 4 weeks for an appt with Dr. Yu. I arrived for my appointment in which I had to pay for parking (no validation). She was quick and didn’t seem liked she cared about why I was there. Any concerns I had were brushed off and referred out to another office in Carmel Valley ( I’m sorry where??) I was referred by my primary doctor who assured me my skin concerns would be treated here. Beyond wonderful. Everyone in her practice is wonderful including the very knowledgable front desk staff and Alyssa her LVN. Compassionate doctor who gets to the point and explains well. I feel confident with her. I have been going to a cosmetic dermatology group in Irvine for a couple of years. The physicians assistants (never saw a doctor) took good care of moles, rosecea, and general skin problems. I had an appointment scheduled with this doctor for over two weeks. The day before the appointment at approximately 9 a.m. her office called to confirm. Then at 5:04 p.m. I receive an e-mail message that the appointment has been cancelled. That is unacceptable. This was not an emergency. She just decided she didn't want to see me. She has that right, but common courtesy dictates that she give me a minimum of 24 hours notice.
