NO stars would be my preference. Salesman seemed genuine. Sub contractor seemed to do nice work (after coming back to improve the attic insulation install) however... the management folk with this company are AWFUL. Condescending, rude, threatening. The job was completed late (6pm) on Thurs evening (Maundy Thur) and I had plans so did not do the final walk around. Also, I wanted it inspected by a licensed inspector. Saturday the manager in Apple Valley (Mike) told me if I didn't sign the completion papers that it'd be a hard... read more

We met Your Home Improvement Company at the Home Show in Sioux Falls. Set up an appt for them to look at our roof and Master Bath. Cleared our schedules and no one showed, or even called. I called the next day to reschedule and give them another shot. This time we had set up another appt a few weeks out, on a Tuesday. The week before someone else called to set up a different appt to look at the roof, so we set that up for Sat. morning. Cleared our schedules and he showed up this time. Met this company at the St. Paul Home and Patio show. Made appointment for representative to come out and review the need for new deck design, and provide estimate. Company was provided name, number and address and provided us a card with the date and time on it. Representative said someone would call the night before to confirm. Never received a confirmation call, no one showed up for the appointment and no one called to apologize. Yet, I canceled a work appointment to be there, so I wasted that time. Your Home Improvement Company installed new windows for the clubhouse at the St. Cloud Country Club and as General Manager, I can't be happier with the service and installation we received from them. Professional, courteous, on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Your Home Improvement Company for all of your remodeling needs....I know the St. Cloud Country Club will.

RUN don't walk away from this company. I wish I had read the reviews on this site before entering into the biggest nightmare kitchen remodel I could ever imagine. 1. The sales rep who visited our home, blatantly lied about the quality of product we would eventually receive. It was a total bait-and-switch scenario; he said we would get totally custom, high-end, hardwood, and we did NOT. 2. When the solid hardwood cabinets we paid a truckload of money for arrived, they were cheap MDF, chipped, cracked, and totally misaligned. ... read more
