The ONLY option for successful neurosurgy in the area and the only physician I would ever recommend for treatment and/or consultation. Extremely intelligent, took the time to explain everything, go over questions/concerns, provided information, and very personable. The greatest healthcare team and office staff I have ever come across.
It took Dr. Ugokwe 6 weeks after my MRI to tell me about my results. I called several times and his office told him of my test results. When he finally called he left out some of the information on the MRI. I had a new problem that showed up on the MRI and my condition had gotten worse.
Dr Ugokwe is a great doctor. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Ugokwe successfully operated on my elderly father for a subdural hematoma. When he came to talk with the family right after, he could not have been more caring, patient and thorough. Though he's a very busy man with a heavy workload, he acted like he had all the time in the world for us and would stay with us as long as needed.
